How to tell which version of partimage is on a PING version?

Postby rbcf_ping » Thu Jan 20, 2011 5:03 pm

Can anyone tell me how I can tell which version of partimage is used on a particular version of PING?

I am assuiming the PING uses the partimage application to perorm it's disk imaging capabilities.

After downloading and bunring the PING.ISO to a CD.

When I boot the CD, it says:

"LInux PING 2.6.32.7"

then says

"PING (partimage is not ghost) 3.00.04 2010-01-01"

Is there a command (in PING or at the root shell) that will tell me the version of partimage being used by PING?

Or is there a directory that I can find this information in?

Or, is there a PING revision history file on the windowsdream.com site that tells you what versions of applications (i.e partimage) where used to create the particular PING revision that is available for download?

I want to be sure that my version of PING is using the latest version of partimage.

Thanks.
