Windows 7 compatibility

Postby remus » Tue Dec 20, 2011 4:21 am

Hi all,

Been a while since my last post.

I've been using PING 3.0 for a while to take care of quick system recovery in case of user error / virus's.

Our community center is upgrading to Windows 7 in Early Jan 2012, and I was wondering if anyone with experience with Win 7 and PING could give me some tips.

thanks a bunch :)

I haven't had any problems using PING to image Windows 7 machines.

Ping 3.0 is working ok with windows 7 and the particular hardware I'm currently deploying.

I'm using a Western Digital USB Ext hard drive to do the job of storing and deploying the image.

every 3 or 4 deployment sessions ends n the hard drive becoming corrupted, requiring a format.

If it happens again, I'll see If I can get some info for from the x.log file
